It's easy to make a buck. It's a lot tougher to make a difference.

"We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give."

Dear Fellow Grads of ‘68:
As we endeavor to gather our classmates to celebrate our 40th reunion, it is not without a lot dedicated time and resources put forth by the committee and volunteers. We have enjoyed the process immensely as each of our meetings is like a mini-reunion in itself. We encourage any fellow graduate to contact us and jump aboard with ideas, expertise, or just some good “old team spirit.”
We do realize there are many of you who, for one reason or another, cannot commit the time to participate in any of the tasks required to put the reunion together. However, there are ways you can help and be instrumental in the success for our 40th reunion. We have limited funds from our previous reunions remaining in our current account. Although one of our committee members has generously donated $1200 to help us kick start our efforts, we are in immediate need of funds to enable us to secure the facilities and band, provide food and drinks, and establish and pay for our website. Also, it is our goal to make this reunion memorable and affordable for all; therefore, we want to establish and make available a “scholarship fund” for former classmates who might not be able to attend otherwise. In order to accomplish this goal, it will take generous donations from members of the Class of 68.
We are asking you to carefully consider how you want to help. First, you may have the resources and ability to give an in-kind donation toward any part of the reunion weekend. That would be welcomed and greatly appreciated as it will cut down on our costs. Then again, and most urgent, are the monetary donations, Wildcat Bucks, which are especially needed now to underwrite our reunion. You can do this several ways. Give a one time gift to our class, or make a pledge and give a certain amount a month, as small or as great as you want. At the reunion, there will be a directory produced and supplied to the ’68 grads. Based on your wishes, your donation will be recognized in that directory, or, if you so choose, you may remain anonymous.
In addition, we would like to be able to give back to the school. Based on the amount given, this can be accomplished by offering a scholarship to a Woodrow student or giving the school itself a gift. Either of these will require extra funds over and above the reunion itself.
Please know all contributions will be used judiciously toward the totality of reunion expenses. If desired, you can choose to direct your gift to the reunion expenses, the scholarship for classmates, the student scholarship or gift to Woodrow, or all of the above. We want to thank you in advance for your generosity and participation in making our 40th Reunion of the Class of ’68 a fun filled and memorable event.
Sincerely,
Co-Chairs Dinah DeWitt Gaspard,
Cathy Billings Ellington, Nancy Foster Miller, and the ’68 Reunion Committee

WOODROW WILSON CLASS OF ‘68
40TH HIGH SCHOOL REUNION
DONATION FORM
The committee for the 40th reunion of the Class of ’68 has been working together for a year now to pull together resources to enable us to all enjoy a memorable 40th reunion. We have relied on volunteers and have had some funds donated by one of our committee members, however, we are now at the point where we really need to get some funds generated. These funds can be designated for the reunion weekend or for the gift we will be giving to Woodrow on behalf of the Class of ’68.
We have several levels of sponsorship available along with an avenue for making an “in-kind” donation towards our reunion efforts.
Please complete this form indicating your level of contribution and send it with your check to :
